Orlando CVB (The Orlando/Orange County Convention & Visitors Bureau, Inc.) is calling to everyone to try to break the Guinness World Record for the World’s Largest Smiley Face, as part of their “Orlando Makes Me Smile.” campaign!
On Friday October 1st, the Official World Smile Day - why not help Orlando break a world record? For 10 minutes participates wearing black or yellow shirts will form a 60 foot smiley face!
'People are flying in from across the United States and around the world – Brazil, the U.K., Canada and Germany – to help break the record for the World’s Largest Smiley Face and you’re invited to be a part of the fun!
As the most visited destination in the United States welcoming more than 46 million visitors a year from across the globe, we are encouraging people to celebrate the world’s most universal symbol – the smile – in conjunction with our global marketing campaign, “Orlando Makes Me Smile.” The event is the culmination of the Orlando CVB’s World Smile Search program that began in April of this year."

The first 1001 people to arrive will be part of the Guinness World Record attempt and receive a special commemorative t-shirt. Also in attendance will be Orlando Celebrity Smile Ambassadors Melissa Rycroft and Joey Fatone
**Participants must be able to stand for 10 minutes and be willing to wear a poncho that will be provided
