Start your engines! The 2012 Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway February 26th!

Considered “The Great American Race", the Daytona 500 hits the Daytona International Speedway on February 26, 2012.  Forty-three of the top drivers in the world will compete at the 54th Annual Daytona 500.

If the Daytona 500 isn't enough racing, then check out these events leading up to the big day.  

February 23, 2012 – Gatorade Duel at Daytona
The starting lineup for the 54th Annual 2012 Daytona 500 will be determined during the two 150-mile qualifying races.

February 24, 2012 – NextEra Energy Resources 250
The tough trucks of NASCAR Camping World Truck Series will hit the Daytona International Speedway for a 100-lap, 250 mile battle.

February 25, 2012 – DRIVE4COPD 300
The rising stars of NASCAR Nationwide Series compete against the stars of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series during this 120-lap, 300 mile race.

February 26, 2012 – 54th Annual Daytona 500
NASCAR’s most prestigious motor sports event.
